AWANA Closing 2024
Tuesday, April 23, 2024
Thank You!!
The church - Trinity Baptist Church and so many other churches - is blessed with so many volunteers.
If you look at our church calendar and the lives of the people, they are filled with so many volunteers.
- Those who faithfully share God's Word and serve families with teens & kids through AWANA, VBS, youth group, Sunday School, children's church, childcare and so many other ways.
- Those who come out to help on spring and fall workdays.
- Those who serve other adults through providing rides to appointments, teaching classes, and sharing a cup of coffee or meal with someone.
"And do not neglect doing good an sharing, for with such sacrifices God is pleased." (Hebrews 13:16)
They are showing the love of Jesus by taking time to teach, talk and listen to the kids.
They are showing a God-focused trust by bringing their concerns and the group’s concerns to God in prayer.
"Little children, let us not love with word or with tongue but in deed and truth." (1 John 3:18)

RESURRECTION QUESTIONS
- Do you remember one item from the resurrection eggs or one detail from the Resurrection Story? Why is it important, or what does it mean?
- What do you think are the BIG TRUTHS TO REMEMBER ON EASTER?
- Jesus died. He didn’t deserve to die, but he died in our place, for our sin.
- Jesus rose from the dead. Jesus’ resurrection was different than other resurrections in the Bible (Lazarus in the NT, the widow’s son in the OT) because Jesus died once. These other people died again.
- Jesus' death and resurrection were necessary for my relationship with Jesus Christ.
You once walked in the ways of this world.
